Rules for participating

The views of participants do not necessarily represent the views of the Government of Alberta. All content submitted will be moderated and reviewed by Government of Alberta staff. The Government of Alberta cannot commit to replying to every comment. We will, however, attempt to engage in conversation and respond when possible.

Please keep in mind that the Government of Alberta will not allow anonymous comments and cannot tolerate submissions or comments deemed offensive to an individual or an organization, rude in tone, or abusive. We also reserve the right to edit or refuse submissions or comments that meet any of the following conditions:

• contrary to the principles of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
• racist, hateful, sexist, homophobic, slanderous, insulting, or life-threatening messages
• serious, unproven, or inaccurate accusations against individuals or organizations
• aggressive, coarse, violent, obscene, or pornographic
• content where the submitter is not the author
• content submitted for advertising purposes
• announcements from labour or political organizations
• unintelligible or irrelevant content, and
• any other content that the moderators feel will not add to the normal flow of conversation.

To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include phone numbers or email addresses in the body of your comment.
